— Work with me
Smart Reduction
Can we do it later?
It’s never been easier to add to our pile of possessions. A few clicks, and a new box arrives at our doorstep. Eventually, our homes are filled with things we no longer use. We waste time searching for items lost in the clutter, often asking ourselves, “Do I still have it?”
Many of us feel the urge to become more organized but procrastinate. When we pass on, unless we take action now, our families will have to deal with our belongings. “Let them deal with it” is not an excellent choice. We can do better.
Remember, you’re not a pharaoh. Eventually, you have to let go of things.

The Clutternomics Decision Process
Deciding what to keep and what to let go of isn’t a one-size-fits-all process.
It often requires deep contemplation.
That’s why I developed the Clutternomics system.
Here are some questions we’ll explore:
Avoiding the Landfill
My goal is to keep items out of landfills. Most people I speak with agree it’s time to “drop a few pounds.” I’ll help you to let go of what you no longer use.
We will do this in the most meaningful and environmentally friendly way.
Here’s how we can rehome your items:
What I do
Step-by-Step
I take a holistic view of your life.
Where are you now? What are your ambitions?
I don’t just ask tough questions; I provide solutions and help implement them.
01.
Initial Consultation
Let’s start with a chat about your goals.
Are you looking to simply purge, or do you want to transform your way of living?
Do you feel overwhelmed and need clarity?
We’ll discuss whether we’re focusing on physical items, digital assets, or both.
Together, we’ll outline the best approach to begin your journey towards simplification and transformation.
02.
Taking Inventory
You’ll guide me through your space, highlighting what works and what doesn’t.
We’ll reimagine your environment and develop a tailored organization plan designed to meet your unique needs and preferences.
03.
Sorting & Categorizing
By grouping items into categories, we can identify duplicates, prioritize what’s important, and determine the space needed for each category.
I’ll create a system that fits your lifestyle and maximizes the use of your space.
We’ll explore questions like:
What organizational system suits you best?
How can we optimize your space?
04.
Decision Time
Now comes the critical part: deciding what to keep, donate, recycle, or discard.
We’ll use my Clutternomics system, a method to help you evaluate each item.
While I’ll provide guidance, the final decision is yours.
05.
Purging
It’s time for the heavy lifting!
We’ll clear out the unnecessary items, freeing up space and helping you feel lighter and more liberated.
We’ll try to keep as many items out of the landfill as possible and give them another life.
06.
Restoring
With the clutter gone, we’ll thoughtfully place your remaining items back into your space, whether in their original spots or newly designated areas.
The goal is a functional, organized, and serene environment.
07.
Feel Good and Tell Others
You’ve initiated this transformation and achieved a more functional home.
Now, it’s time to celebrate your accomplishments.
Share your journey to inspire others to embark on their own path to simplification.

For Your Consideration:
Two Must-Have Boxes
Usually, I encourage thinking outside the box. But here, we need two special boxes:
Box 1: Contains passwords, your will, funeral directions, and anything else essential for managing your transition after passing.
Box 2: Holds personal documents to be disposed of after your passing—letters, diaries, and other items highly relevant while alive but not needed after.
The same applies to digital organizing. Box 1 includes directions on finding and managing your digital legacy.
Everything else goes in Box 2 to be erased. Imagine being evacuated due to a natural disaster.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have these boxes ready?
Of course I can help you to prepare these boxes.
