Digital Rethink

Time to Regain Control

What are your current online habits?
How do they serve you?
What are your objectives?
Which channels should you use?
How do you balance connecting, sharing, creating, and commenting?
How do you measure “success”?
How can you stay organized?

I create tailored organizational plans, including naming conventions, filing and tagging systems, storage and backup strategies, and digitizing physical documents. Which photos and videos to keep? Managing music and other documents? How to store files for easy access? These are just some of the questions to deal with.

01.

Initial Consultation

We’ll begin with a discussion about your digital habits and goals. Are you looking to declutter your digital life or achieve a more profound transformation?

We’ll identify the key areas to focus on—whether it’s managing files, photos, emails, or apps.

Together, we’ll set clear objectives to streamline your digital world.

02.

Taking Inventory

You’ll guide me through your digital landscape. We’ll assess your current digital assets, identify problem areas, and create a personalized digital organization plan.

This will include understanding your file storage, local software and cloud services, and digital devices.

03.

Plan Development

Based on what you shared with me I’ll come up with a highly customized plan for your digital landscape. Photos will be a natural big focus area since we often have so many of them.

We’ll touch on many things including:
Do you have a proper backup plan?
Are you properly protected from intruders?

04.

Implementation

Once we have a plan we’ll decide on what I do and what you’ll do. We’ll implement a system to keep your digital assets organized. This includes setting up naming conventions, filing systems, and backup strategies.

We’ll also digitize important physical documents and integrate them into your digital system.

Once we’ve both done our homework we’ll put everything together and review the results.

05.

Story Extraction & Preservation

As we sift through your digital and non-digital belongings, consider creating legacy content.

Everyone has a story worth telling. Let’s format it—whether video, audio, writing, or multimedia—so friends, family, and future generations can enjoy and learn from it.

I have 20 years of experience turning relevant bits into compelling stories and can help refine yours.

06.

Feel Good
and Share

Celebrate your newly organized digital life! Recognize your achievements and share your journey to inspire others.

Whether through social media or personal networks, your experience can motivate others to declutter and simplify their digital worlds.

Controlling Your Digital Assets

In recent decades we started to amass a ton of digital possessions. Personal computers, digital cameras, and smartphones have made it easy to create a tremendous amount of digital clutter.

Steps to Take:

Be selective with what you keep.
Implement a thorough digital cleanup.
Develop and maintain a plan for managing your digital data.
